Mission

The mission of IA ITB NA is to establish and enhance a mutually beneficial and enduring relationship between the ITB, its alumni, and current and future students

IA ITB NA (North America) is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. IA ITB NA’s purpose is to connect alums to the ITB and each other, provide valued service to members and support the University’s teaching, research, and service mission.

The corporation shall have the power to solicit, collect, receive and disburse funds and dispose of the property in furtherance of the objectives of IA ITB NA, and with its funds to endow professorships, create a scholarship, erect buildings, and render assistance in any manner to the ITB, and the power to do any and all other things not prohibited by law.

To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with other non-profit organizations under the 501(c)(3) section of the Internal Revenue Code and are operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes.

At times, per the board of directors’ discretion, we may provide internships or volunteer opportunities that will provide opportunities for involvement in said activities and programs to impact change significantly.

ITB Alumni North America used Facebook Profile Frames to celebrate the first centennial of ITB.

From the current IA ITB-NA database, more than 180 ITB alumni registered to work, study and live in the United States and Canada. The alumnus was from 22 majors, class of 1970 to 2012.

Based on the geographical territories, IA ITB NA has four zones: East, Central, South, and West, and each zone have a regional coordinator (Korwil).
